Support & replacements

Hardware fails — we replace it next-day. Software updates ship monthly via fleet management.

Why Android, not iPad

Hospitality runs on a different operating system.

Apple builds for a single-user, glass-slab, English-speaking, App-Store-mediated world. Your shop is none of those. We picked Android because every line below is something your line cooks, your baristas, and your customers actually need.

01

Patches ship the day they're ready

Bug at 3pm Saturday? We patch it and push to your fleet within hours. iPad apps wait one to seven days for App Store review — your shop doesn't run on Apple's release calendar, and a broken kiosk doesn't get a queue ticket.

02

Hardware built for kitchens

IP68 dust + water resistance, drop-tested to 5ft, glove-mode touch, sun-readable for patio service. Zebra, Honeywell, Samsung Galaxy Tab Active — these tablets exist for shops. Apple sells one form factor: a glass slab made for a coffee table, not a fryer line.

03

Lifespan you control

Apple drops iPadOS support roughly 5 years after launch — your hardware still runs, but it stops getting security patches. We keep your fleet on a stable LTS image for 7+ years. The tablet retires when you say it does, not when Cupertino releases the iPad Pro M9.

04

Real multi-user, real audit trails

Android has OS-level user profiles. Every barista signs in with their own PIN or NFC badge as a real user — not a name field on an app session. Real shift logs, real per-staff sales, real accountability. iPadOS still treats a tablet as a single-user device.

05

Built for multilingual menus

Kanji, hangul, full CJK input — first-class in the OS. Switch a kiosk between English and Korean in two taps for the after-school crowd. Receipts print with proper diacritics. iPadOS keeps multilingual input behind App Store permission walls and keyboard-extension hoops.

06

Kiosk mode that's actually a kiosk mode

Android Enterprise (Knox, Zebra Mobility) is purpose-built lockdown — the same fleet management Walmart, Delta, and Target run on. Apple's "Guided Access" is an accessibility feature with a kiosk-shaped hat. We lock the device to your menu and only your menu, fleet-wide.
